How much LP do you need for Grandmaster on LAN?
Our estimate for the next update is about 400 LP.
When does the Challenger cutoff update on LAN?
Once a day, soon after midnight Paris time. Expect it an hour later once the clocks change on 25 October.
Does the cutoff change during the day?
Riot's line does not: nobody changes tier between updates. Our estimate of the next one keeps moving until then.
Why is the lowest Challenger below the cutoff?
Tiers only change at the update, so a Challenger who loses LP keeps the tier until the next one.
