How much LP do you need for Grandmaster on JP Flex?

Our estimate for the next update is about 400 LP.

How many Grandmaster players are there on JP Flex?

500 in Flex: the apex players ranked 201–700 by LP. Riot gives out the seats at its daily update.

When does the Grandmaster cutoff update?

Once a day, soon after midnight Paris time. Expect it an hour later once the clocks change on 25 October.

Why is the lowest Grandmaster below the cutoff?

Tiers only change at the update. Grandmasters keep losing LP until the next one: the lowest now has 225 LP, about 175 under the line.

Does the cutoff change during the day?

Riot's line does not: nobody changes tier between updates. Our estimate of the next one keeps moving until then.
